Film music was never just about Hollywood – and from Lawrence of Arabia to James BondBrief Encounter to Four Weddings and a Funeral, British cinema has created its own legends, to utterly unforgettable music. As part of our Isle of Noises season, film music maestro Anthony Weeden introduces a century of great British film scores. The elegance of Murder on the Orient Express, the visionary pre-war sci-fi of Things to Come; the sheer emotion of the Love theme from Romeo and Juliet: these are the soundtracks of all our lives: and you’ll never hear them played with more energy or flair.

There is a £2 per order charge for booking online, by phone and by post. Additional postage charges apply (60p standard or £1.75 signed-for). There is no per order charge for bookings made over the counter in person.

Wheelchair users

The Concert Hall has several specially designed seat positions as well as lift access and accessible toilets (RADAR keys in operation). A companion sitting in a neighbouring seat may be admitted free of charge, subject to availability.

Hearing impaired customers

There is a Sennheiser radio frequency system in the Concert Hall which can be used with or without a hearing aid. Please collect the unit and a headset from the Ticket Office upon arrival at the venue. Please allow 15 minutes before the start of the performance to pick up your headset, and note that a £20 returnable cash deposit will be required.

Visually impaired customers

Guide dogs are welcome in all Brighton Dome venues. Printed materials are available in large print on request from the Marketing Department on 01273 260825.

Public Transport

Brighton railway station is 10 minutes' walk away, with fast, regular services from London and elsewhere. Phone 08457 484950 for details. There is a frequent bus service from all areas of the city.

Parking

You can take advantage of a special £6.50 evening rate* at the RCP North Road for parking from 5.00pm – midnight. The car park is a four minute walk from Brighton Dome. Brighton Dome and Festival members receive a 30% discount on standard parking charges.
