Introduction to the LPO's 2017/18 London season

Welcome to the London Philharmonic Orchestra's 2017/18 season at Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall.

There’s something for everyone in this new season, from star performers to thought-provoking programmes. We perform a range of music from Bach to Thomas Adès, and celebrate the 10th season of our Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor Vladimir Jurowski.

Our Belief and Beyond Belief festival in partnership with Southbank Centre continues to the end of 2017 with concerts exploring the themes of ‘Judgement’, ‘War and Peace’ and ‘Rituals and Seasons’. Then in 2018, we explore the life and music of Stravinsky in our new festival Changing Faces: Stravinsky’s Journey.
