Our memberships offer a wealth of opportunities to become closer to the musicians and to be more involved in the day-to-day life of the Orchestra. Membership allows you to support the Orchestra, helps us to maintain the high standards that you see and hear on the concert platform, and benefits thousands of people through our Education and Community Programme.

To show our thanks we offer a range of benefits for you to enjoy. These range from priority booking and regular newsletters through to private recitals in your home by our musicians, with an increase in exclusivity for those able to make major supporting gifts. However you are able to help us we look forward to welcoming you into the orchestral family.

Our Benefactors are a loyal group of supporters who love the Orchestra and wish to give at a higher philanthropic level. They receive all of the perks of Principal Friend membership with further exciting and exclusive benefits including access to tickets at the Glyndebourne Festival.

All the benefits of Principal Friends plus:

  • Acknowledgement in all London season concert programmes
  • Access to two Glyndebourne Festival final rehearsal tickets*
  • Access to the Beecham Bar for member and guest on eight occasions during the season (or 16 occasions for a member attending without a guest). Complimentary drinks, canapés, chocolates and concert programmes are available in the Beecham Bar
  • A programme of exclusive private events during the season*

The commercial value of these benefits is up to £320. The balance of £180 is a suggested voluntary donation and therefore eligible for Gift Aid. In compliance with HMRC, all benefits packages can be purchased separately by contacting us directly. The donations and Gift Aid we receive enables the LPO to continue to carry out its work each year both on and off the concert platform.

Principal Benefactor

Our Benefactors are a loyal group of supporters who love the Orchestra and wish to give at a higher philanthropic level. They receive all of the perks of Principal Friend membership with further exciting and exclusive benefits including access to tickets at the Glyndebourne Festival.

All the benefits of a Benefactor plus:

  • Access to two Glyndebourne Festival performance tickets*
  • Access to the Beecham Bar for member and guest on 16 occasions during the season

The commercial value of these benefits is up to £640. The balance of £360 is a suggested voluntary donation and therefore eligible for Gift Aid. In compliance with HMRC, all benefits packages can be purchased separately by contacting us directly. The donations and Gift Aid we receive enables the LPO to continue to carry out its work each year both on and off the concert platform.

Chair Supporter

Named after the Orchestra’s founder, the Thomas Beecham Group is a circle of dedicated supporters who are able to offer major supporting gifts. Patrons are invited to develop a special relationship with specific musicians and the management team. Through their philanthropy they play a significant role in the Orchestra’s life.

All of the benefits of a Principal Benefactor plus:

  • Acknowledgement in concert programmes as a supporter of the chair of a London Philharmonic Orchestra musician
  • A complimentary recital by your supported musician*
  • Unlimited access for member and guest to the Beecham Bar at the Royal Festival Hall
  • Access to purchase two Glyndebourne Festival tickets each season, with the option to purchase additional tickets subject to availability**
  • An opportunity to invite the supported Player to attend a private event or dinner once a year
  • Priority booking to purchase two Glyndebourne Festival Opera performance tickets each season**
  • Priority access to purchase two Glyndebourne Festival Opera final rehearsal tickets each season**
  • A guided tour of Glyndebourne Festival Opera by the supported player 
  • Access to purchase tickets for international concerts in whcih the supported players is performing
  • Complimentary access to exclusive open rehearsals

Principal Chair Supporter

  • A complimentary private duet by your supported musician and another London Philharmonic Orchestra player*

The commercial value of these benefits is up to £2,200. The balance of £7,800 is a suggested voluntary donation and therefore eligible for Gift Aid. In compliance with HMRC, all benefits packages can be purchased separately by contacting us directly. The Gift Aid we receive from all eligible donations enables the LPO to continue to carry out its work each year both on and off the concert platform.

Leader Chair Supporter

Named after the Orchestra’s founder, the Thomas Beecham Group is a circle of dedicated supporters who are able to offer major supporting gifts. Patrons are invited to develop a special relationship with specific musicians and the management team. Through their philanthropy they play a significant role in the Orchestra’s life.

For gifts of over £10,000 the Orchestra creates bespoke opportunities for support and involvement tailored to meet the individual interests of its donors.

Opportunities might include:

  • Support of the Leader's Chair
  • Support of the position of our Composer in Residence
  • Commissioning of a new orchestral work
  • Support of a school taking part in one of the Orchestras Education and Communitiy programmes

Leader Chair Supporters receive all of the benefits of Principal Chair Supporters.

The commercial value of these benefits is up to £2,200. The balance of £12,800 is a suggested voluntary donation and therefore eligible for Gift Aid. In compliance with HMRC, all benefits packages can be purchased separately by contacting us directly. The Gift Aid we receive from all eligible donations enables the LPO to continue to carry out its work each year both on and off the concert platform.

Principal Conductors Circle

The Principal Conductors Circle is made up of an exclusive group of individuals who take a particular interest in the projects of Vladimir Jurowski, and the adventurous programming that is defining his tenure as our Principal Conductor

All of the benefits of Leader Chair Supporters, as well as bespoke opportunities designed to involve beneficiaries more closely with the work of Vladimir Jurowski.

The commercial value of these benefits is up to £2,200. The balance of £27,800 is treated as a voluntary donation eligible for Gift Aid.The commercial value of these benefits is up to £2,200.
