Help us Play On
The cancellation of our concerts and events has presented the LPO with a huge financial challenge. We are resolute in our drive to keep one of the world’s great orchestras alive and we need your help to do this. As we now start on our journey back to the concert platform, we are determined to emerge from this stronger, more creative and more resourceful than ever.
The Government’s emergency support package for the arts is incredibly welcome news. We celebrate the financial support it will offer to so many organisations, the commitment it shows to our sector and the demonstration of the importance of the arts in UK society. As a sector we are all interdependent on one another; for us there is no performance without a fully operational concert hall, and without our brilliant freelance musicians there is no Orchestra. All areas across our sector must be protected and supported. With so many organisations in need of this vital Government support we know that, however we may be able to benefit from this package, it is a lifeline but not the full solution.
We ask you to help sustain us now and into the future.
The LPO is a family, at the heart of which are our musicians and our talented young instrumentalists and composers. It is these individuals who collectively can move us to tears, fill us with joy, wonder and hope, or have us leaping from our seats with the thrill of their performances.
With your help we will create more of these experiences.
With your donation you will help sustain our family of musicians.
With your support we can continue to provide opportunities for talented young instrumentalists and composers.
Be part of our LPO family and the LPO future.
For every £1000 collectively raised we will illuminate a face of the LPO musical family.
Please give what you can. Donations of all sizes will help build back the Orchestra and move us one step closer to illuminating all of the faces you see here.
Thank you to everyone who has supported over the past four months. We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing and new support we have recieved which is enabling us to survive this challenging period, to adapt to new ways of bringing you our music and performances, to continue our Education & Community activity and to engage with audiences online through LPOnline.
If you are a UK tax payer the LPO can receive an additional 25p in Gift Aid on every £1 that you donate – making your donation go even further. We ask everyone who can, and is eligible, to provide us with a Gift Aid Declaration. To complete a Gift Aid Declaration simply sign in to your LPO account, select the gift aid tab from the left hand menu and tick the ‘giftaid it’ box. You can also sign in to see if you've already given us a gift aid declaration.
