‘The London Philharmonic’s premiere of a new violin concerto from Julian Anderson was as ingenious as it was entrancing ... Anderson is a composer of ringing, bell-like harmonies and subtly shifting orchestral colour. There’s a naive glow about his music, a pearly new-dawn iridescence, as if the world has returned to a state of primal innocence.' Ivan Hewett, The Telegraph, 15 March 2015

'[The LPO's account of the Ravel] brought out the formal consistency and expressive poise of Ravel's classically inspired fresco in full measure.' Richard Whitehouse, Classical Source, 16 March 2015

'Jurowski’s orchestra evoked a series of crystalline landscapes of the soul ...
... The London Philharmonic Orchestra is looking the most adventurous of London’s orchestras' **** Richard Fairman, Financial Times, 16 March 2015

'Imaculately shaped and balanced, with a daring dynamic range' *** Anna Picard, The Times, 18 March 2015
