★★★★ ‘The LPO rendered the music’s flickering play of colours with immense subtlety ... This performance held us in a vice-like grip, right up to the spine-chilling ending.’ Ivan Hewett, The Telegraph, 14 February 2017

‘What an interestingly balanced and diverse programme this was ... Orozco-Estrada’s total involvement in the work was clear ... His unerring grasp of the four very different styles demanded by the works in this concert showed us exactly why he was chosen as the LPO’s Principal Guest Conductor in 2015.’ Alan Sanders, seenandheard-international.com, 11 February 2017

‘The rapport between musicians and conductor was tangible, and the LPO covered the wide stylistic ground with alacrity and all-encompassing virtuosity.’ Colin Anderson, classicalsource.com, 11 February 2017
