LPO Offstage Podcast
We’ve thrown our doors open (digitally speaking) for our podcast, taking you behind-the-scenes, bringing you closer than ever to the world of orchestral music.
If you have ever wondered what musicians get up to before concerts or on tour, how you go from being a 4-year-old violin novice to a member of one of the world's greatest orchestras, or why some musicians pour litres of water over their instruments, you're in the right place.
LPO Offstage is hosted by MOBO award winning saxophonist and presenter YolanDa Brown. In our new second series, YolanDa and members of the Orchestra return to chat about handling nerves, the ins and outs of recording film and video game scores, the music that means most to them, and lots more. We're particularly excited to welcome musicians from the New York Philharmonic and Berlin Philharmonic to share their stories and experiences (there are more similarities than you might imagine!).
Listen to new episodes weekly until Thursday 17 June. Find LPO Offstage wherever you listen to podcasts, and join in the conversation on social media using #OffstagePod.
