Why are you taking part in the 10K?To raise money for the great education the LPO provides! Oh I have the running bug!
Have you had any experience of working on any of the LPO’s education programmes?I found myself in a primary school in Southwark sitting on the floor helping a 6 year old play a xylophone. When he got it right it had made his day! (and mine)
How experienced a runner are you?I ran against Ade Mafe an Olympic sprinter at college. I now run a steady and slow 10k.
Do you find that running has any particular advantages for you as a musician?Running takes away stress and anxiety.
Do you have any tips for people who are considering taking up running?
Putting on the running shoes is the hardest part. Once you are out there you'll love it!
The Vitality British 10K London Run takes place on Sunday 10 July and Team LPO is running in order to raise funds for the LPO's BrightSparks schools programme. Find out more and donate here.
