LPO Junior Artists
In June 2021, LPO Junior Artists rehearsed, introduced and performed a programme of music by Arvo Pärt, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Amy Beach, and Felix Mendelssohn. Conducted by Jonathan Bloxham, the Junior Artists played side-by-side with LPO players, Junior Artist alumni, and members of the Foyle Future First Development Programme. The programme also includes the premiere of a commission by former LPO Young Composer Joshua Brown which the young musicians contributed to in creative workshops earlier this year. We are excited to share this filmed performance with you all.
