The London Philharmonic Orchestra takes your privacy very seriously and is committed to providing users with an online experience that respects your privacy.
We collect personal information from you in order to make your experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. We need it to fulfil your ticket and merchandise requests, process your payments, inform you of any delays or problems with your order, to notify you if an event is cancelled or the event information advertised has changed, and, if you have given us your agreement, to send you information about future events and activities that may be of interest.
The information we collect is:
Email address (to email you order confirmations, delivery delays, offers etc)
Telephone number(s) (we will only call if we have a problem fulfilling your order)
Payment Card details (we only ask for these when you place an order). All payment card details are submitted directly to Sagepay, our payment provider. The London Philharmonic Orchestra does not at any point see your card details.
We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. All the data collected by us is stored on a secure server. The secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.
The London Philharmonic Orchestra is a registered data user under the Data Protection Act 1998. We will never sell or pass on your details to a third party for marketing purposes without your permission. We may, however, pass on your details to other arts organisations that we think may interest you, if you have agreed that we can do so.
When you book tickets through the London Philharmonic Orchestra (online, by telephone, or in person) or give the London Philharmonic Orchestra information for other reasons such as joining a mailing list, your personal information will be entered into a database. This database is a ticketing system that is shared by the Southbank Centre Consortium. The current members of this consortium are Southbank Centre, London Philharmonic Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra. All member organisations are able to view your name and contact details and this helps to ensure the best possible customer experience. When you purchase items through us, or otherwise provide us with personal information (or notify us of changes to your personal information), you consent to your names and contact details, which are entered on the database, being disclosed to the member organisations for the purposes of ticketing only.
We may also share aggregated demographic information with the member organisations for analytical purposes. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
To request a copy of the information we have about you, and to correct any inaccuracies, please write to:

The EU Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications demands that member states do more to combat spam. The UK law tries to create a system that lets legitimate businesses send direct e-mail to users but attempts to stop the scammers and spammers.
We only send emails to addresses that have been supplied directly to us by customers and we always disable or remove addresses in our database when requested to do so by those customers.
We never spam.
