Minn Majoe

Joined the LPO in 2020

Minn Majoe enjoys a varied career as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. She completed undergraduate and Masters studies with Maurice Hasson and Clio Gould at London’s Royal Academy of Music. Before joining the LPO in 2020, Minn was a member of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s first violin section. She is a former participant on the LPO Foyle Future Firsts programme, as well as the LSO String Experience and Birmingham Royal Ballet’s mentor schemes. She works with many UK symphony and chamber orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, Manchester Camerata and Aurora Orchestra.

Minn also regularly performs contemporary music and has played in the London Sinfonietta, London Contemporary Orchestra and Lucerne Festival Academy. As the first violinist of the Dulcinea Quartet, she has enjoyed regularly touring to Japan. She also leads Anima, a contemporary chamber ensemble which plays contemporary music alongside animated films.

Outside of music, Minn is a fanatical foodie. Her blog, Minn’s Munchtime, shares great places to eat near concert venues, as well as city guides for hungry touring musicians!
