Artistic Director

The London Philharmonic Orchestra is looking for a world-class Artistic Director with the creative ability and experience to shape, develop and programme the artistic output of the Orchestra. Working alongside Principal Conductor, Vladimir Jurowski, and Principal Conductor Designate, Edward Gardner, this individual's role is pivotal in continuing the trajectory of the successful programming of the LPO whilst enhancing its ongoing artistic excellence and relevance as a 21st century Orchestra by bringing in new initiatives and fresh ideas.

The Artistic Director of the LPO must have an inquiring, creative mind, a good understanding of orchestras and how they work and a desire to explore, devise and implement wide ranging orchestral programming initiatives. She or he will work collaboratively with Chief Executive Designate, David Burke, and the whole LPO team to reach wider audiences, engage with the inspiring Education and Community team dedicated to providing access and opportunity, and further the Orchestra’s efforts to achieve diversity in all areas.

Finance Director

The London Philharmonic Orchestra is looking for an exceptional Finance Director to work as part of its senior management team. The post holder will hold responsibility for all financial and administrative issues of the orchestra, with administrative responsibilities including oversight of IT, legal and premises.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a senior finance function in a performing arts organisation, a working knowledge of orchestral practice and the ability to inspire their team and colleagues.
