Tours Manager

This is an exciting opportunity managing the international touring of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Touring remains a large part of the Orchestra’s life, giving between 35 and 45 concerts overseas each year: highlights of the 2018/19 season include a major tour of Asia including South Korea, Taiwan and China, as well as performances in Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Switzerland and the USA.
Working alongside the Concerts Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all the touring logistics and travels, including accompanying the Orchestra on its tours.

Marketing Assistant

An excellent opportunity to gain experience within the busy marketing department of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the voice of the LPO across all social media channels, and will be involved in all aspects of marketing and profile-building campaign activities that take place during the concert season.

Development Events Manager

The Development Events Manager is charged with ensuring successful creation and implementation of the Orchestra’s varied programme of stewardship, cultivation and fundraising events. The post-holder will be expected to play a key role in curating the events programme, managing individual events from concept to delivery, securing financial and in-kind support, and working with members of the team to sell tickets. This is an exciting time to join the Orchestra with key events in London and New York and an increasing portfolio of boutique fundraising events.
The successful candidate will demonstrate creativity, organisational skills and attention to detail and will ideally bring fundraising experience to the role.

PA to the Chief Executive/ Administrative Assistant

The PA to the Chief Executive and Artistic Director is a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The post holder is responsible for managing the Chief Executive and Artistic Director's office, whilst also providing administrative assistance to the Education and Community Department and the CD Label. A broad role, this gives the postholder a great oversight across all of the Orchestra’s activities and an opportunity to liaise with a wide range of people from within the classical music industry as well as the Orchestra and its board.

LPO Soundworks Production Trainee

The London Philharmonic Orchestra has created a new opportunity for a Production Trainee to join the project delivery team for our LPO Soundworks programme 2018-19. This is a new freelance role on the LPO Soundworks project team, designed to offer professional experience for anyone who would like to take the next step into the professional world of arts project production. Working with the LPO’s Education and Community team and freelance creative professionals, the Production Trainee will gain experience in the logistical aspects of the programme, building their professional experience and networks. Candidates should have an interest in the performing arts and education and community work. We are looking for someone very practical, with a positive attitude, keen to learn and be part of our LPO Soundworks team. We encourage applications from every section of the community, and the role can be adapted to suit any access requirements if needed.
