Experience the world-class London Philharmonic Orchestra for absolutely free on this one-off summer performance at Canary Wharf.
On the programme is Beethoven’s incredibly powerful Symphony No. 5, instantly recognisable from its opening phrases, and a brilliant example of Beethoven’s gift for dramatic expression. Beforehand, hear Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, similarly well-loved, and an example of Mozart’s light touch that still manages to stir the listener’s emotions. Opening with Rossini’s Overture to his opera The Barber of Seville, this performance promises to be a real treat for the senses.
This is a free event, no tickets required. Due to venue capacity restraints, access will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
