So far we have received over £10,000 from people who know and love the LPO. Thanks to the support of people like you the double bass stools and tom-toms are now fully funded and on their way.
However, we still need your help in obtaining the other items on our wish list below. You could help support our FUNharmonics family concerts, music hire for Carmina Burana on 6 April or recording a concert for live stream. All presents, big or small, are gratefully received by the Orchestra, and if you can’t decide you can always make a donation to be spent on whatever we need the most.
Follow the progress of our Birthday Appeal, updates on your present, read our birthday messages and see our birthday cards by visiting our birthday blog.

Two double bass stools - £250
Our double bass stools are on their last
legs. Support our musicians by giving them
something new to sit on!

Three tom-toms - £800
We often have to hire percussion. Owning our
own tom-toms would make a great birthday
present!
|

Carmina Burana music hire - £1,500
Help us to stage a concert! Donate towards
the score and part hire for the conductor,
orchestra and choir for
the performance of Orff’s Carmina Burana on
6 April 2013.

FUNharmonics illustrations - £3,000
Donate to the bespoke illustrations and

FUNharmonics family concert, to help
educate and increase engagement with our
young audiences.

New terminal server - £5,000

Make your gift go further

Using gift aid means that for every pound you donate, we are given an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further. You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that the London Philharmonic Orchestra reclaims on your donations in the appropriate tax year.
Please complete the Gift Aid Declaration when you download the donation form or as you donate online. It doesn't cost you a penny but it makes a huge difference to us.
All gifts over £250 will be acknowledged in selected concert programmes throughout 2013.
