The London Philharmonic Orchestra inspires and entertains people from all walks of life. Our performance on the concert platform and education work behind the scenes is designed to engage and thrill both new and loyal audiences.
However, ticket sales cover only 12% of our operating costs and as we become more ambitious and forward looking, we rely increasingly on the support we receive from individuals, trusts, foundations and companies to continue to deliver our core performance and education programmes.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra performs to the highest international standards all over the world, engaging globally renowned and respected artists at the same time as fostering the next generation of musicians. Outstanding interpretations of core repertoire sit alongside newly commissioned works.
Education and Community Programme
Our aim is to promote, maintain, improve and advance musical education and bring the pleasure of music to a diverse audience, young and old, from every background. Through the pioneering workshops, concerts and activities we undertake in schools and communities, we reach over 30,000 students, families, special needs children and elderly people each year.
The Orchestra believes that its education programme should be accessible to everyone, so participation in most projects is free of charge. For more information see our Education pages
