The London Philharmonic Orchestra's Education and Community programme celebrates its twenty-first anniversary this year.
We're passionate about bringing the pleasure of music to a diverse audience, young and old, from every background.
Through workshops, concerts and a wide range of activities in schools and communities we reach 30,000 students, families, special needs children and elderly people each year.

Because we believe that music is for everyone, our aim is to provide our projects free of charge wherever possible. To do this we need to raise over £550,000 a year.
We're very grateful to the incredible support of our corporate and charitable sponsors, but we can't raise the entire amount in this way.
So we're asking you, our audience, to help us continue spreading the joy of music by donating to our Appeal.

‘I really liked all the different sounds from the Orchestra in the concert. Short, long, strong, soft, quick and slow sounds made the Orchestra sound really exciting. It was my first big Orchestra that I had seen and heard, and I liked their posture, sound and music; it was totally cool!’
Harry, aged eight, audience member
All gifts over £250 will be acknowledged in selected concert programmes throughout 2008.
Make your gift go further
Using gift aid means that for every pound you donate, we are given an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further. You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that the London Philharmonic Orchestra reclaims on your donations in the appropriate tax year.

Please complete the Gift Aid Declaration when you download the donation form or as you donate online. It doesn't cost you a penny but it makes a huge difference to us.
